(Health TechNet) is one of the most popular, interactive and educational forums for health care technology and biotech companies in the Washington D.C. metropolitan area.
The membership uses the group as a forum to advance the use of technology in healthcare, to identify and facilitate financing and capital sources and as a resource for exchanging information in this sophisticated and ever evolving marketplace.
The network meets in a roundtable format on the third Friday of each month (with some exceptions to accommodate holidays) and in those meetings draws on the expertise of technology specialists, physicians, scientists, venture capitalists, marketing experts and healthcare, IP, transactional, information security and litigation attorneys. Each meeting highlights a current topic and provides regular updates on financing trends, legal and regulatory issues and important mergers and acquisitions affecting health care technology and biotech.
This website includes some portions accessible only by the members and is a valuable tool for members to communicate with one another, post questions, track issues, and find links to pertinent news and academic sources.
