Our July 23rd meeting, which was a Zoom call, focused on Regulatory review of what states and Congress have enacted vis a vis telehealth and one rural health system’s experience with virtual care and their revenue cycle. Speakers: --Matt Keppler, Sr. Manager State Health Policy, Change Healthcare, provided an overview of the telehealth policies states discussed and passed during this last legislation session. Deanne Kasim, Exec Director, Health Policy, Change Healthcare moderated the discussion and provided an overview of the bills in Congress that seek to make permanent many of the virtual care policies and restrictions that CMS waived during the public health emergency. --Dr. Narayana Murali, Executive Director of the Marshfield Clinic, and EVP of Care Delivery and Chief Strategy Officer to the Marshfield Clinic Health System, discussed the health system’s experience with telehealth and virtual care before and during the pandemic. He also provided insights on the revenue cycle implications for their system.
