Our November 12th meeting was an in-person visit to JLabs@WashingtonDC, part of Johnson & Johnson Innovation, at their new home on the site of Children’s National Research Institute on the Children’s National Research & Innovation Campus, the former Walter Reed Medical Center. JLabs has partnerships with both Children’s National and BARDA. Sally Allain, head of JLabs@WashingtonDC, talked about their partnerships and the entrepreneurship they will be housing in their brand new incubator. We had a fireside chat with Sally and Rachel Rath, Director of the BARDA Alliance. Following that, we toured the incubator in groups of 10.
