Past Meetings

Our November meeting of Health TechNet was held on Friday, November 20, at Teqcorner in McLean, VA and featured a discussion of “The Rapidly Expanding Technology of Consumerism in Securing and Providing Medical Services.” The program was moderated by healthcare IT consultant and “eFuturist” Douglas Goldstein, who has been following consumer trends and the effect of new devices and online options in patients obtaining and managing various forms of medical care. This is an area that is re-inventing itself almost daily and is having a large impact on the payor, provider, and medical technology communities.
